Veteran manager Noel King returned to the dugout at Dundalk and watched his side claim their first Premier Division win of the season against Bohemians.

At Tolka Park, Damien Duff’s Shelbourne beat St Patrick’s Athletic in a sold-out Dublin derby.

Seán O'Connor will be filing his match report from Tolka Park shortly, but here's a bite-sized version:

Shelbourne secure a first win since March 29 tonight courtesy of John Martin's first half goal. Damien Duff's remain top of the Premier Division by three points and it was a win that was deserved. They enjoyed by far the better chances in front of 4,755 at Tolka Park, with Will Jarvis and Liam Burt shining in particular.

It's Shels' third win in a row over St Pat's, with the Saints now winless in four and 10 points off the top. But the Riverside stand are all on their feet here applauding Duff's side after their Dublin derby win. The leaders are back to winning ways.

Hoban pounces at the RSC!

Derry City look like they are about to make it two wins on the spin as the Premier Division's top scorer, Patrick Hoban, is first on the scene to score the rebound after Kelly's initial shot is saved.

That's the Galwegian's ninth of the season.

Tribesmen on target in Tallaght!

What a few minutes it has been in the game between Shamrock Rovers and Galway. Having wasted the opportunity to get their noses in front, the champions then concede.

Ed McCarthy flicks a through-ball for Stephen Walsh to run onto before he drives his low shot past Leon Pohls.
