NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The top-seeded Auburn Tigers meet the eighth-seeded Ole Miss Rebels today – Friday, March 14 – at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee. This men’s college basketball matchup is available to watch on multiple streaming services for free.

Auburn will look capture its second consecutive SEC tournament crown before turning its attention to the arduous road of the NCAA tournament.

SEC Player of the Year and Wooden Award candidate Johni Broome is averaging 18.6 points, 10.6 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 2.4 blocks while shooting 50.6% from the field. The senior forward headlines a roster saturated with experience.

Senior guard Chad Baker-Mazara is averaging 12.9 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.6 assists while shooting 46.9% from the field, including 38.7% from beyond the arc.

Senior guard Miles Kelly could be a X-factor. He touts 11.6 points, 3.7 rebounds and 1.1 assists while shooting 42.5% from the field. He has racked up five straight games in double digits.

The Tigers have won the SEC tournament in 1985, 2019 and 2023.

The Rebels (22-10, 10-8) are looking to shock the world after a thrilling victory over ninth-seeded Arkansas, 83-80. Junior forward Malik Dia led the Rebels with 19 points, eight rebounds and three steals.

Senior guard Scott Pedulla is averaging 15.0 points, 3.7 assists and 3.6 rebounds while shooting 43.3% from the field, including 39.8% from beyond the arc. Pedulla hit the game-winning 3-pointer against the Razorbacks with 1.3 seconds left.

Senior forward Jaemyn Brakefield is averaging 11.0 points, 4.4 rebounds and 1.8 assists while shooting 50.8% from the field. He has combined for just 13 points in his last two games. If Ole Miss is going to pull off the upset, he will need to replicate his stronger player earlier this month.

Ole Miss is 3-1 in its last four games, including edging out Tennessee. The Rebels stormed out of the gates this season with a 15-2 record before being humbled in SEC play.

Auburn leads the all-time series, 85-64. This includes three consecutive home and home season sweeps. The Tigers defeated Ole Miss, 92-82, back on Feb. 1. Their second encounter this season was a 106-76 thrashing at Auburn on Feb. 26.
